Rules and Regulations
block stage:
Matches will be played in single long game (19 hoops).
The block seeding is based on the number of wins and in case of tie , the hoops difference is used then the match result between tied players.
The top three players of each block qualify to the knockout stage directly (32 round)
The fourth , fifth and sixth place of each block go to the qualifying stage to qualify to the knockout stage.
From the seventh to the eleventh place of each block go to the plate.
qualifying stage:
Matches will be played in the best of 3 games.
8 players qualify fo complete the knockout stage (32 round) and the rest of players go to the plate.
knockout stage:
The knockout stage is seeded using the block separation by grade method.
The players who have qualified to the knockout stage are placed into group of eight by block position , the block first through third place finishers placed into groups 1 to 3 respectively.
The players within each group are ranked in descending order of dynamic grade used in the block stage draw (0 matches).
The players will be placed on a standard display board of a 32-player according to the WCF sports regulations.
The 8 players qualified from the qualifying stage will be placed in the display board from the start of the tournament.
All knockout stage matches will be in best of 3 games.
plate:
Plate block matches will be played in a single gamed (13 hoops)
The block seeding is based on the number of wins and in case of tie , the hoops difference is used then the match result between tied players.
The top 2 players of each block qualify to the plate knockout stage.
Plate knockout stage matches will be in best of 3 games.
