WCA GC Challenge Series

Understanding the WCA GC Challenge Series on Croquetscores by Shaun Theobald

The current holder of the trophy will be the first club mentioned for each fixture, the challenger will thus be second, and challenges are first-to-last going left-to-right

The summaries for each group may be interesting statistically, but this is NOT a competition where they decide a winner as the the holder for each trophy is the winner of the most recent challenge

Each round has a two-week window for clubs to arrange their challenges starting from Monday 5 October EXCEPT for the Round 5 (the penultimate round) which runs for an additional week from 30 November-20 December due to two GC tournaments in the Wellington region in December, and Round 6 (the final round) which runs for an additional two weeks from 21 December-17 January to accomodate the Christmas-New Year holiday period when people are generally less likely to be available
