US Open GC

Finals Day (Saturday) Order of Play by Jeff Soo

Championship Final (best of 5)

9:00, Court 7: Robert Fletcher vs. Mal Fletcher

Championship Third-Place Match (best of 5)

9:00, Court 6: Matthew Essick vs. Kyle Maloof

Bowl Final (best of 3)

9:00, Court 2: Euan Burridge vs. Harry Dodge

Plate Final (best of 3)

9:00, Court 3: Rafael Hernandez-Alcala vs. Randy Cardo

Plate Block

9:00, Court 11: Aly Radwan vs. Damon Bidencope

The determination of the Plate finalists was complicated by the fact that there are some unfinished games in the Plate block. Randy Cardo and Kent Lovvorn have pegged down their game at 6-all; they will resume at 8:30. If Randy wins, he and Rafael are the clear #1 and #2.

However, if Kent wins, each of these three players has two losses, with Kent having not yet played Damon Bidencope. Without sufficient time for Kent and Damon to play before the final, this would be treated as a three-way tie, ignoring Randy and Rafael's games against Damon (which both of them won). Randy and Rafael would still be the finalists in that case, based on net points.
