CNZ Invitation Tournament to be held at St Martins Croquet Club, 11C Gamblins Road, Christchurch who are delighted to be hosting this event. To contact the club during the event please phone the Tournament Manager, John Borner on 021 1527239.

St Martins Club: No internet access is available
Access to the Club is down the driveway which is sign posted
Parking is available on the street, with the Club carpark reserved for officials and live
streaming vehicles
Club house fee - $5 per player per day which covers morning and afternoon tea daily
Tea and coffee available throughout the day
Lunch: $25 (3 days) pre-ordered or $10 per day (order on the day) – set up will be help yourself from platters with a variety of salad goods, meats, wraps or similar) and rolls etc. Food available will be suitable for all dietary requirements.

Reporting time: 8:00am for an 8:30am start each day
5 minute hit-up before play starts each day for all players
AHS cards: it would be helpful to have these signed off by your Club Captain / Handicapper prior to the event
Lawns: St Martins has 4 lawns, requiring 1 lawn to be double banked throughout the event. The first
round each day will have lawns allocated and the manager and players will select lawns for other
rounds
Please bring markers
Current lawn speed is 10+ (taken on 4 February)
Mowing – will be completed on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. No mowing planned during the
tournament
Balls: Dawson balls to be used
Hoops: Quadway hoops set as per conditions in Yearbook
New hoop holes will be set the day before and moved if required during the event
Format: Best of 3 matches ie: first to 2 games wins, single round robin, 13 point games
Winner will be decided using the following order: Match Wins / Net Games / Net Hoops /

Practice session: this will be available on Thursday from 4pm to 6pm
Croquet Scores: this letter and any further updates will be noted in the ‘Commentary’ section
Results will be updated as the games are completed
Social event: if there is sufficient interest to have an evening meal on Saturday we will book at the
Brickworks which is very close to the Croquet Club

Live streaming: Croquet NZ intends to record videos at this event. Depending on crew availability to be
confirmed, some of the event may be livestreamed to the Whakaata Maori Youtube channel.
Any recording otherwise will be available on CNZ’s YouTube channel and will serve as a
resource for those wanting to join the Women’s GC Player Group in preparation for the 2027
Women’s GC World Championship
