Plate Format

There are 8 blocks of 4 or 5 players. 2 players from each block will advance to the Plate Knockout, which will be single-game for the first round and best-of-3 from the quarterfinals onward. If a block ends in a tie including 2nd and 3rd place, the 2nd and 3rd-place block finishers (determined by wins, net points, total points) will play a playoff game to break the tie.

Block games will have a 2:30 time limit. Best-of-3 matches will have a cumulative time limit of 3:00, 5:00, 7:00.

Reminder, bridge openings

From 7:30 to 9:00 AM on weekdays, the bridges only open once per hour. In that time period the North bridge (from N Quadrille Blvd) opens at 8:15; the Middle Bridge (from Okeechobee Blvd) opens at 7:45 and 8:45. Plan accordingly.
