The postponed tournament took place just over a week late. The day was mainly cloudy but dry apart from a few spots of rain.
Our highest ranked player, on -2, had the task of winning 11 hoops before his opponent could score 5 in his first 2 games, thanks to the Advantage rules. He did well to win 3 of his 5 games.
The players were put into two sections of 6 for a 5 game opening round. Dave Butler of St Heliers and Anne Griffin of Mt Albert both won all their games to top their sections. In the final, Dave won 7-3 to take the Elizabeth Pringle Memorial Tray.
