Robert Upton v Nick Steiner

The clips are 3-back and 4-back vs 3-back and 4-back!
Steiner had made a sporting attempt at a TP, but never got an actual peel.

Upton just missed a key 11-yarder, and Steiner is making process with his backward ball.

12 Sep 2021 4:02PM (Tournament); 15 Readers

Upton has a choice of several 11-yarders.
Instead he opts for a long double from B-baulk, missing.
Steiner will have a chance to finish, when he returns from the hedge.

12 Sep 2021 4:05PM (Tournament); 16 Readers

Steiner's rush to 4-back is 4 yards wide, but a fair approach yields a 3' hoop, which he runs.
There's a ball near the peg, but Steiner chooses to roll up to penult.
Wells hort, 8' hoop, failed.

12 Sep 2021 4:10PM (Tournament); 15 Readers

well short

Upton hits 6-yarder.

12 Sep 2021 4:10PM (Tournament); 15 Readers

Upton must have failed to hit D=Steiner's ball at penult somehow.

Steiner Green is for penult, Brown for peg.
Green, Brown and pink all near penult.
Steiner could trivially hit if he played Brown, but wants to finish.
Green attempts a sweep shot to hit Brown 3y away. Clean stroke, finishes an inch short of the roquet.

12 Sep 2021 4:17PM (Tournament); 15 Readers

Upton in with pink, makes 4-back, penult.
Now makes rover off Brown. Has a northward rush should he wish to peg Brown out.

12 Sep 2021 4:20PM (Tournament); 15 Readers

Brown is pegged out from 2 yards.
And so is Pink!
Whoops.

12 Sep 2021 4:22PM (Tournament); 15 Readers

There are two balls on the lawn.
Steiner's Green is for penult.
Upton's White is for 3-back.

12 Sep 2021 4:23PM (Tournament); 15 Readers

Steiner takes posi at penult.
Upton takes posi at 3-back.

12 Sep 2021 4:27PM (Tournament); 15 Readers

Don't think green can now run rover.
Upton White tries to take posi at 3-back, overhits.
That is not a good spot to be.

12 Sep 2021 4:29PM (Tournament); 15 Readers

Steiner Green is able to take wired posi at rover.
All Upton can do is play White into jaws of 3-back.
