Only 7 rounds could be completed on Saturday in the time available before fading light would become a problem. The 16 players have been split into 2 sections of 8, with the 7 rounds played completing Section Play for those sections. The top 4 in each section go forward to a Top 8 block and bottom 4 in each section to a block for 9th to 16th, both Super-Section format with results carried forward from Section Play for games against players coming from the same section. So 4 rounds to complete these two blocks. Then one or two rounds of playoffs depending on time available, either semifinals and final and equivalent for lower positions or just playoffs between corresponding positions.
