Chilly morning after yesterday's relentless heat - jackets and jumpers the order of the day.

All games finished in a more timely fashion than the previous day so the one pegged down game was played to finish too by lunch. The sun reappeared so the afternoon games progressed with 2 of the three finishing in time to establish both a winner and runner up.

So as our new Scottish friends could leave on their 7 hour (no air con) trip home the presentations were made by Mrs Eileen Magee BEM and CCC VP - Alison Maugham was the runner up with 4 wins and will receive the lovely croquet mallet brooch - Sarah Hayes (oh that's me) was unbeaten and retained the glorious Barlow Bowl for another year.
