The tournament will start with block play, one block of 9 and one of 8. We intend to run 7 rounds for the block of 9 and 6 rounds for the block of 8 on the first day, leaving 2 rounds for the block of 9 and 1 for the block of 8 to finish block play on the second morning. The plan for after that is that the top 3 from each block will go into a further block of 6 for positions 1-6, the next 3 per block will play for positions 7-12 and the remaining 5 into a third block for positions 13-17. This could change if there is significant disruption because of bad weather etc. Positions will be decided by wins then net points.

Starting Time: 8.30 am both days.

Hoop specifications will be as for the GC Women's World Champs: the hoops will be set to the largest ball on each lawn such that the clearance is as near as possible equal to, but not less than, 1/32".

There will be double-banking on some lawns during the initial block phase and in playoffs for positions 7-17.
