CNZ GC Nationals

Format for NZ GC Singles by Peter Freer

Pls ignore the info for the Women's World Champ which is on the wrong tournament.

The GC Open Singles at Nelson is using an interesting format. We started with eight blocks of 5 (one of 6) playing single games. Top 4 from each block proceed to another block round with 4 blocks of 6 playing bo3. Rest to Plate, playing single games in one large block.

The top 4 from each block in the second "Medal Round" go through to the KO on Thurs.

The Medal blocks were striped using the results of the initial blocks, rather than World Ranking.
