Dixon Advisory Croquet Classic

Tournament format by David Stanton

This event is held at Cammeray Croquet Club in Sydney, NSW. A qualifying event will be held on from Tuesday 27 February to Thursday 1 March. Two players will qualify for the main event, joining 14 players with automatic entry. The 16 players will be formed into four blocks of 4 players, of approximately equal total DG.
On Friday 2 March, each block will play a round robin. Winners and runners-up will enter a double-elimination knockout, with 3rd and 4th placed players entering a single-elimination knockout. As players are knocked out they will enter a Plate competition.
The final will commence at 2 pm on Sunday 4 March, between the undefeated player and the player who has one life remaining. If the previously undefeated player loses the first game of the final, an "IF" game will be played to determine the winner.
Prize money has been provided by Dixon Advisory, Australia's leading provider of advice and administration services for self-managed superannuation funds. Block winners will receive $150 each, as will the winner of the Plate. Third prize is $250, second prize is $1,000 and the winner receives $3,000 plus a trophy.
