WCF GCWC U21s
Day One U21s by Lester Hughes
Good Morning from Carinlea.
Yes I spelt my own name wrong - I expect ribbing.
The players have just been briefed and are strolling out onto the courts for their warm ups.
Its 14 or 15 degrees right now heading for a top of 20.
No wind to speak of at the moment.

Let that be a lesson - never go for a walk around the lawns as you are likely to become a hoop setter.

A quick wrap-up day one.
It was cold then warm then windy then rainy then cold then warm again. Welcome to Melbourne Under 21s.
The top four seeds in Joshua, Felix, Edmund and George did as expected winning their matches today.
Edward EJ Wilson looked good winning his 3 matches today. If his world ranking doesn't improve the most over the next three odd weeks, then someone else will be having a brilliant breakout tournament.
Jason Hodgett and James Gumbrell should be happy as both won two matches today.
I would expect some of the second block seeds to find more wins tomorrow.
