WELCOME! And congratulations for your qualification to contest this year’s national finals event. We hope you all have an enjoyable and memorable weekend.
EVENT FORMAT
Saturday: Qualifying pools at Claudelands, Hamilton East and Morrinsville Croquet Clubs. Please aim to arrive at the allocated venue for your pool by 8.15am on Saturday morning.
Sunday: Top 16 knockout event at Claudelands Croquet Club

The Championship Final and the Plate Final will be held at Claudelands Croquet Club on Sunday afternoon.
Prize giving will take place at Claudelands Croquet Club from approximately 3.30pm on Sunday.
Qualifying Pools 1 to 4:
Each team will play 7 qualifying matches (8 teams per pool). The highest placed 3 teams from each qualifying pool will automatically qualify for the Top 16 knockout and consolation on Sunday.
The 4th placed team with the highest net wins, then highest net points from pools 1 to 4 will fill the 16th place in the Top 16 draw.
All non-qualifying teams will contest the Plate knockout event on Sunday.
Qualifying Pool 5:
Each team will play 5 qualifying matches (6 teams in the pool). The first 3 teams will qualify for the Top 16 knockout on Sunday. Any ties for positions 1 to 3 after all 5 rounds have been played will be decided by playoff. If more than 2 teams are tied, a Bagnal Wild Draw will be used to determine places 1 to 3. The remaining 3 teams of Pool 5 will contest the Plate event on Sunday.
Please ensure that you know which venue you will be playing at on Sunday BEFORE you leave your venue on Saturday.
At the conclusion of Plate games at Hamilton East and Morrinsville, please make your way to Claudelands Croquet Club for the event finals and prize giving ceremonies on Sunday afternoon.

Please bring your own lunch. You will have 30mins to eat your lunch but there will not be an official lunch break. Directions on local food outlets will be provided at each venue.

The event dinner will commence at 6.30pm (Pre booking required) Some transport assistance may be available if required. Please contact Gavin Hall.

Qualifying pool charts will be updated and displayed on notice boards at each venue at the conclusion of each round. Online results are also available at;

PLAYER INFORMATION UPDATE: Wednesday 20 September
Due to some late entry withdrawals the qualifying pools have changed and have been updated on this site.
There are now 4 qualifying pools of 7 teams (Pools 1,2 4 & 5). Pool 3 has 8 teams.
The top 3 teams from each pool of 7 teams, and the top 4 teams from the pool of 8 will qualify for the top 16 knockout draw at Claudelands on Sunday.
All non-qualifying teams will contest the Plate event at Hamilton East and Morrinsville on Sunday. The Plate Final will be played at Claudelands.
There are no changes to venues on Sunday. Please arrive at your designated venue by 8.15 on Saturday morning.
