Singles block results by Jeff Soo

One block game is still in play, but it will not affect the cut to the knockout. Both blocks had ties for 4th place, so playoff games are underway. In Block A, Huneycutt beat Lawrence to earn a playoff against Bast. Block B managed a four-way tie for 4th place, which could seriously delay the start of one doubles semi-final. The four players were drawn randomly; Abdelwahab plays Jenkins while Taylor plays Harshman. Time limits have been shortened to two-and-a-half hours.

Harshman beats Taylor +25tp, just the fourth triple of the tournament so far.

Huneycutt missed a short pegout of the striker's ball, and Bast is now motorvatin' on up that hill.

With no bias whatsoever, the manager now observes that a win by Abdelwahab would allow both doubles semi-finals to begin in reasonable time.
