Another nice day in California today. The temperature is expecting to go 35+ today so hydration and sun protection will be important as usual. I'm buzzing to be in the hotseat again, big day of commentary coming up and I've even found a powerlead so no chance of running out of battery. Just hang on wifi you could thing!

Incomplete: 1 with USA being game up and the second game being pegged down

Todays matches will see;

Lawn 1: Huneycutt vs Hakes - I'm expecting Hakes to take this one 2 straight. Danny hasn't looked like himself this event and good chance for NZ to get on the board early.
Lawn 2: Clarke vs Lawrence - Lawrence has impressed me this event, though Clarke should just be a definite favourite, Lawrence has played well and it's hard to call this one.
Lawn 3: Morgan vs Shilling - these 2 players get to repeat the fun from yesterday. Both were the better players in their pairings so I would be surprised if this one went the duration, but I'm going to go Shilling 2-1
Lawn 4: Hogan vs Soo - Soo is a very heavy favourite and Hogan will need to improve on his efforts yesterday to get a point on the board for NZ in this one. Definitely possible and all you sports fans out there can watch this one on the live stream

Late start 1: Garrison vs Rothman - Rothman is again a favourite, but I know how much Garrison will want to take a scalp and I'm picking the upset for the Kiwi to take the point home for NZ 2-1
Late start 2: Chapman vs Maloof - we all know how good Maloof is, but I'm picking Chapman 2-0.

Overall prediction: Hoping for a 6-0 day to NZ (surely I'm not biased??) but I'm going to say it will be an improved effort from NZ and we will win the day with a 4-2 victory to close the gap on the test.

Players have nearly completed their warm ups, then we'll have the traditional 10 minutes of stopped play while the referees check hoops etc. Throughout the remainder of the Mac, we're going to introduce a new concept to make the commentary a bit more interactive, If you have a genre (PG) and recommend it, I'll do my best to include a fun fact of the day about that genre. This may mean that even more of my talking bollocks, doesn't make sense. But it will provide some entertainment for the 100's of thousands of followers.
