The tournament finished in full sun with a great final.

Jamie Burch had blitzed his block but met his match with Chris Roberts in the Semi. Chris having lost his final 3 games in his block was saving himself for a heroic effort to take the 2 games required to make the final.

James Goodbun who was a favourite to make the semis did just that. Nick Cheyne his opponent had squeezed through from the tight block. After much interplay especially at hoop 13 in the middle game James overcame the stubborn resistance.

The final was a close affair with James just having the edge to run out a 2-0 winner.
