27 players split into four groups (per below).
Each group, will play all players from another group, i.e. cross blocks.
Cross block games will be played as single 19 point games (5 rounds on Saturday, 2 rounds on Sunday).
At the conclusion of the cross blocks (i.e. 7 rounds), there will be single game 13 point playoffs to determine positions 1-4 within each group where players are tied on games won.
At the conclusion of the playoffs, the top 4 players from each group will qualify for the final 16 knockout.
The Bo3 13 point knockout will be played as a full XYZW. The round of 16 and quarter finals will be played on Monday, the semi finals and finals will be played on Tuesday.
Those that don’t qualify for the knockout (up to 11 players) will proceed to the Women’s Plate.
The Plate format will be dependent on final numbers but likely to be one large block (13 point) or cross blocks (13 point) with Bo3 semi & final on Tuesday.
