The format of the Minnesota Open is a draw and process. As of Friday evening, the draw is down to two competitors and the process down to four, all of whom are distinct, so the winner of the draw will meet the winner of the process in the final on Sunday morning.

Players also compete in the Mosquito Open, a Swiss format event.
