fails peel going to 6, fails rush peel after 6 , but has a takeoff peel going to 1 back ball - peel gets into jaws , but pops back out

still has to play a good croquet shot from nth boundary behind hoop 2 loading 3 back , going to peelee - good shot to peelee and rush peels , his blue does clip red out of position after the roquet on peelee , should cope
28 Feb 2016 5:47PM (Tournament); 6 Readers
sends black to penult , slight cut on a 1 yard rush to 2 back , has a 4 yard roll in from east of hoop 2 back , hoop 3 load is also 5 yards short , so a bit of work to do to squeeze it all in
28 Feb 2016 5:49PM (Tournament); 6 Readers
good hoop approach and runs hoop to give him a rush to penult area and lets him set up tightly , loads the red as the pioneer rush to 4 back , rushes peelee to the short 3 back load and sends it back to penult about 2 feet short and east , perfect rush to 3 back , but wont get rush out of hoop .

rolls from level with 3 back , but goes past peelee , will be setting for a straight double
28 Feb 2016 5:55PM (Tournament); 9 Readers
roberts had a few straight doubles this weekend and think he has only put one down , so should be good odds to finish , penult hoop has abit of grab and most well hit peels dont go much past peg , maybe a yard or two

peel is from about 18 inches straight
28 Feb 2016 5:58PM (Tournament); 7 Readers
peel is perfect , but clips the red ball short of the peg and ends up 1 yard past peg, with no collision it would of been a yard short of rover but maybe a yard or 2 wide
28 Feb 2016 6:02PM (Tournament); 8 Readers
has croqueted yellow to a good level with rover escape ball , rushes red to a foot behind black, has a dolly rush to rover - all on the weight of the shot
28 Feb 2016 6:03PM (Tournament); 9 Readers
rushes to 40 inches from the hoop and about 5 -10 degree angle , perfect peel and his own ball pops through by three inches , peel is about 1.5 yards through , rushes escape ball towards west boundary but plays a good take off to red near the peg , nice rush to his black , 2 foot take off to get a rush to the peg , rushes nicely and pegs out to win .
