nick has played it quite well and left a yellow at hoop 2 and a single ball rush to the cnr 1 ball from mid east boundary. anne shhots from cnr 1 and misses , nick has break ahead - misses 6 yard return roquet after hoop 1

anne has the balls mid east boundary area and nicks two balls in cnr 1 , annes take off hits hoop 5 lining up the 13 yard double in cnr 1 - hits good shot

quite tense out on the lawns after a relaxing block play day yesterday , when losses didnt matter as much, anne has a cannon cnr for hoop 1

rosie has controlled break well , not the best control at 2 back 3 back and sensibly turns the leave into a loose but good distance DS - trev pisk up red ( peg area ball ) makes double from b baulk , hits centre ball 24yard shot - hit it too well and rushes it to cnr 4 , has to deal with a east boundary ball and a tight west boundary ball

anne has played this very well and has an adequate load at hoop 3 , but tight control at hoop 2 - she needs a good 9 to start the day , played well in the qualifier wed, thurs but got crunched up yesterday , sticks in an easy hoop 2 , nick has a one yard tap on with black at balcks hoop 2

trev plays a great roll loads hoop 2 and gets a rush to hoop 1 , runs hoop 1 and has a good set lawn

alan makes a good leave after callum failed hoop 1 , and gets callum attempting a long range jump shot at a double v a 22 yard roquet - misses and alan has a good set up for a standard tp

anne fails a 2 inch hoop 3 , nick plays black ( hoop 6 ball ) hits the 6 yarder instead of the 1 yarder at hoop 3

trev makes hoop 1 , loads hoop 4 going to ball in cnr 4 , hogan roll coming up. red placed 2 yards south of hoop 2 ... , shot ends up with blue 3 yards nth of hoop 3 and has a 5 yard shot at red , only gets an edge of it , which was handy , runs hoop 2 and has a set standard tp ahead, just needs to place peelee in position from 11 yards after not getting a great rush from hoop 2

alan misses a hampered shot after running hoop 3 , callum quickly out onto the lawn

trev jawses peel after hoop 3 , but appears to not got hoop position at hoop 4 , looks at all options and then fails a jump shot , rosie taps on and sends yellow to hoop 2 and sets in cnr 1 with a good wide rush leave ,

nick misses 5 yarder , anne hits 10 yarder , but no easy break ahead

trev shoots from hoop 2 to 3/4 ball hoop 3 - misses , rosie rushes well to hoop 1 , trevors peelee may be more on the leg than jawsed - all irrelevant , rosie misses an easy hoop 1

trev runs 4 back , hits 7 yarder , takes off to hoop 1 balls , misses a 4 yarder back towards the peg , rosie takes her lift from b baulk hits the 6 yard and has a good set up ahead.

callum has good control , after a mishap at hoop 6 , but now has a controlled break to 4 back and sets a tight peg cross wire with himself west boundary 10 yards sth cnr 2

lots of nick v anne interaction, but anne now is through hoop 4 with the balls but not an easy break ahead

alan hits a great lift shot from cnr 1 - tough bumpy boundary - he is hoop 4 and 4 back , will be tough getting a rush on his pink ball near the peg to hoop 4 , plays a couple of good shots and has a 2 ft hoop approach at hoop 4 with hoop 5 partially loaded

rosie under approaches hoop 3 and has to retire a ball into cnr 2

alan takes his 4 back ball to the peg and sets a looses reverse DS , but pretty good as his back ball is for hoop 4

trev runs rover and has a cut rush back to his yellow , has a three yard take off, plays it well and should peg out . will need to wait to see if he plays Josh Wilson or Jim Nichols
