Do you play Association Croquet? Would you like to play in a National Tournament?

The Australian Association Croquet Women’s Singles Championship is being held at the Victorian Croquet Centre, 65 Nobel Banks Dr, Cairnlea from Saturday 12 to Tuesday 15 March, 2016.

If you have a handicap of eight or better you should enter this event, which has been held for the past 46 years at various venues across five States. Depending on numbers, over the four day period you will compete in a best of 3 knockout, with consolation events and a plate running concurrently.

Please note that Atkins quadway hoops will be used at this event (and the Gold Medal and Eire Cup).

Entry fees must be paid to ACA by closing date.
Payment for functions is direct to VCA.
Entry fees: $85 each - if only entering the Plate: $42.50. Players under 21 and full time students under 25 are entitled to 50% reduction of above fees (ie $42.50 each)
Functions: Eire Cup Teams Reception - 6:30pm Tuesday 15 March by invitation
Eire Cup Presentation Dinner - 6:30pm Sunday 20 March: $50 per person
Prizes: Winner $300; Runner-up $150; Third $100.
Draw: To be conducted by the ACA Tournament Committee, with help from Events and AC Selectors, using the ACA Seeding and Draw procedures. The world ranking list current at that time will be used for seeding purposes.
Format: Knockout or other format depending on entries. All matches in the knockout will be best of 3 games, except the X semi-finals and finals, which will be best of 5 depending on available time and starting DGrades. Subject to entries, an XYZW shall be played from the round of 16. All games are time-limited. The Plate event format will depend on entries
