This was one of the wettest days of the year and special mention to the heroic youngster Chris Farthing who manned the Squeegee to great effect. After an hour lawn2 became playable. In the afternoon Lawn1 was also used .

The normal best of three format was abandoned and at one point a darts match seemed the best way to resolve the contest.

After three hour car journey the visitors deserved a good lunch and a game of croquet. Somehow both were achieved.
