3rd turn Jamie blue hits black. Leaves a rush to red in c2

Goacher wonders over to inspect the rush

Turn 4 Misses blue and black from A baulk

Turn 5 Jamie blue hits yellow. Rushes black to somewhere near 1.

Makes 1. Rushes to north boundAry behind 2.

Takes off to red in c2. Gets a southerly rush.

Puts red to 3. Fails 2.

Turn 6 - David Goacher shoots red from 3 at yellow near 4. Misses.

Turn 7 - Jamie burch (JB) calls a ref. chris Clarke obliges. Hammers in hoop 2. JB runs 2 with blue. Hits 5 yArd shot at black. Approaches 3 makes it. Looks like he has a break.

Turn 7 - JB blue has run 5 and has a break. Looks like a ball to 3b or 4b

Turn 7 - JB blue has made 1b so giving contact.

Turn 8 - David Goacher (DG) has contact. Lifts red takes contact from blue in c3. Takes off to yellow in c4(!)

Turn 8 - DG red hits yellow. Rushes in 6 yards west off south boundary. Rolls yellow to 5 yards NE c1. Red lags to give yellow a tight rush to 1

Turn 9 - JB black shots from c2 at blue 3yards west c3. Misses

Turn 10 - DG yellow makes 1. Gets a rush to hoop 6ish. Takes it to hoop 2. Approaches 2.runs it

Turn 10 - DG yellow hits blue which is h3 is pioneer croquet stroke going to black in c3. Tries to take off to black getting rush to 3. Goes off.

Turn 11 - JB black (1) hits yellow 1yard away. Sends it 5yard north hoop 6. Rushes blue to red. Red to 1 makes 1 with the balls for a standard to.

Turn 11 - JB black send red to 4. Gets blue (4b) to 5 yard west 3 before 2. Makes 2.

Turn 11 - JB black makes 3 off blue. Gets 4b peel. Rushes yellow south to Red 3ft in front of 4.

Turn 11 - JB standard position now. Ill keep quiet until (?) something goes wrong.

Turn 11 - JB black gets penultimate peel on blue after 6. Leaves himself a hampered shot on his escape ball. Hits it. Seems to be back in control.

Turn 11 - JB doesn't get a 2b pioneer. Manages to get yellow as a 3b pioneer. Rushes blue to west boundary. Rushes well to 2b. Looks all over from here.....

Turn 11 - JB black sends red to 4b has a go at peeling blue going to yellow at 3b. Gets it. Makes 3b. Bar a Maugham error it's 1-0 to JB

Turn 11 - JB deals with his rover pioneer which is 3 yard south rover. Pegs out to win the first game +24tp
