Sunday brought Sunshine and showers and the first real upsets of the tournament.
Round 4 followed the rankings but in round 5 it all changed.

The top seeds in each block were meeting in the final round in what was, in effect , semifinals

The first to finish was James beating Will in two games 7-3, 7-4. James's consistency overcame an unusually erratic Will. At this level of play the odd poor shot proves very costly and this proved the case.

Having had one surprise we looked across to court one where Lionel had taken the first at hoop 13 to find him 5-1 up. He ran out winning 7-3.

So we have a final of James v Lionel on lawn3. The lawns started the day 11.4 but are much slower now after the 2 heavy showers. Weather light breeze and partially overcast.
