The forecast is not good, with cyclone Lusi bearing down on us. The singles, both Men's and Women's started this morning. The main worry is whether we can get enough games completed before the lawns flood. Rain is forecast from this afternoon, with heavy falls and gales tomorrow.

Both events are being run as flexible Swiss, with 2.5 hr time limits. The qualification requirement is at least 4 games, 1 of which must be played tomorrow. The 4 leaders will then go forward into a playoff, single game semifinal and final. If weather cuts play short, we have the option of taking 2 into a single game final, or even taking a winner from the Swiss results.
