Aust GC Handicap Champs

Doubles Format by Peter Freer

a) Doubles block play comprises two blocks of 6 pairs. Each pair plays the other pairs in their block, in a single 13 point game on Wednesday 6 November. All games are at Headland Buderim CC.
b) Block results will be based on games won, and then net points. If pairs are still tied, then which pair beat the other in their block game. The top two pairs proceed to the knockout phase of the event, with first in each block playing second in the other block.
c) Semi-finals and final will be best of three 13 point games (if time allows) on Thursday 7 November.
d) Losing pairs in the semi-finals will play each other for third & fourth place, in a single 13 point game on Thursday afternoon 7 November.
e) A plate will be conducted on Thursday 7 November for pairs eliminated from the knock-out. This will be 2 blocks of 4 pairs playing a single game round robin, followed by a single game semi & final (or otherwise at the Tournament Manager’s discretion).
